Born in the UK, raised globally. Living in Taghazout Bay, Morocco.
I was 10 years old when I first travelled solo, taking a long-haul flight from Heathrow to Johannesburg. I loved, and still love, everything that travelling offers.
I learned to balance two different worlds; a timetabled traditional English boarding school education, alongside family holidays running wild in South Africa's wilderness areas.
This pattern was later repeated throughout a travel career with various UK-based tour operators, taking research trips to remote and far-flung places across sub-Saharan Africa. I fell in love, developing a deep appreciation and respect for our natural world and its diverse communities.
In 2015, having tipped the work:life balance scales too far, I took my foot of the physical travelling pedal, and started travelling inward. This inner journey led to greater self-awareness, and a desire to embody a more authentic and holistic life.
A love of surfing, yoga and travel writing brought me back to Morocco in 2018. Mid-way between the UK and South Africa, on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, my two worlds merged, I am home.
I'm blessed to live a beautiful life, filled with adventures and wonderful people. My aim is to share this via my writing, yoga and artwork.
Thank you for being part of the journey.
