Hello, I’m Sally, a travel writer and co-author of Lonely Planet Morocco and DK Eyewitness Marrakech guidebooks. I help travellers explore Morocco and other African countries with confidence, ease, and greater awareness. Whether through written articles or travel planning services, my goal is to use my local knowledge and network to help visitors connect more deeply, feel safe, and travel with cultural understanding.

A career in travel planning for specialist UK tour operators taught me to discern luxury. I’ve helped hundreds of clients bring their dream Africa trip to life. Originally from the UK, Morocco has been home since 2018. With over 20 years of experience in the travel industry, as a travel planner and a writer, I have been fortunate to work with award-winning companies such as Black Tomato, DK Eyewitness, Lonely Planet, The i Paper, Adventure.com, and Time Out.

When I’m not writing, I can usually be found walking my dog in the mountains, drinking coffee with friends in Tamraght’s cafés, surfing waves along Morocco’s Atlantic coast, or planning my next adventure.
